What can I say? I’m moving into a house on August 15th. I’ve been a gardener/garden lover for as long as I can remember. Sadly, I’ve lived in apartments for the past 19 years. And so my gardening has been limited. All that is about to change. In 12 days I will have a garden. My very own garden. So, if *I* were to have $300 I would likely make a dent on my Thursday Thirteen list (on my blog) from yesterday:
Thirteen plants I want to have in my garden one day
Iris
1) Bellflower
2) Hosta
3) Shasta Daisy
4) Peony
5) Rudbekia
6) Delphinium
7) Pansy
9) Poppy (Iceland, California AND the ever popular Flanders poppy)
10)Lily
11) Tulip
12) Clematis
13) Lobelia

I would purchase either cold frames or supplies to make raised beds that could be covered later with hoop frames to help extend my growing season. As of right now with no additional protection, I can only grow from June to Sept frost free. I’d love to be able to extend my growing season.
