My favorite company to purchase tree starts from is called Stark Bro’s. They have been in business since 1816 and they are the winners of the Green Thumb Award for 2009. They have seeds ranging from apple and peaches to nuts and shrubs as well.

The catalog for February offers the original Dwarf fruit tress and the Semi-Dwarf fruit tress as well. The Dwarf fruit tree offer the same as the standard fruit tree but at a smaller size to help with space. If you live in an apartment this would be a great tree to have located on your deck or patio.

They also are introducing the Sweet Tart Pink Lady Apple, the Anne Yellow Raspberry, the Bubblegum Plum and the Pink Pendula Weeping Cherry. These trees and bushes are a great addition to anyone’s landscape. The Stark Bro’s also offer the money grows on trees option that really helps put things into perspective for growing your own fruits or nuts.

The Stark Bro’s exclusive on apples are one of a kind. They have on red delicious, double delicious apple and the heritage delicious apple. They also come in the dwarf option and the semi-dwarf option as well.
