Bonnie Plants go Green for You

by

Bonnie Plant Farm is taking a greener approach to their already wonderful plants. They are one of the largest suppliers to many of the biggest mass merchandisers in the United States already, such as Kmart, Wal-Mart, Home Depot and even Lowes and Fred Meyer as well. They also supply to many hardware stores and farming supply stores too. With their concept of going green they have changed from regular fertile and soil to organic ones as well as switching to biodegradable peat cups that can be planted right into the ground with the plant. There company has not switched to 100% use of the biodegradable peat cups but the company is well on their way for change. With this change alone they have prevented many of the plastic gardening cups from ending up in landfills nation wide.

Bonnie taking this huge step to reduce their environmental impact can help the everyday gardener as well as the everyday farmer stay in step with the changing times to be more eco-conscious. There efforts have been featured on Good Morning America as well as Live with Regis and Kelly. By the end of 2008 the company will have made a vast difference in becoming all green and environmentally friendly. This will be the company’s way of being strongly committed to doing their part to helping to conserve the environment.

And every little bit helps. You too can make this change at home as well. By switching you planting needs to Bonnie Plant Farm you too can help make a different right in your own area. This next planting season reach for the Bonnie plants instead of some others and be doing a great service for the environmental as well.
